| Hospitality Tent - - - Wednesday, September 1 - Sunday, September 5
Starting on Wednesday September 1st we will have our athlete hospitality tent open. This tent will be conveniently located at the North tip of the island overlooking the bottom 500 metres of the race course. The Tent will be furnished with: - Spacious comfortable seating area overlooking the course - Cash bar with beer and wine for sale - Food vendor area offering a variety of food available for purchase throughout the day |
Opening Ceremonies - - - Thursday September 2 - 8:00 pm The official opening ceremonies for the 2010 FISA World Masters Regatta will take place on Henley Island in the hospitality tent area. - The bar and food vendor area will be open for the duration of the ceremony - The official program will begin at 8:30 pm with fireworks at ~ 9:00 pm A spectacular fireworks and music display will take place over the water off of Henley Island. This will ultimately be the best place to watch as we kick off the welcoming of over 3000 athletes into the Niagara Region. |
| St. Catharines Rowing Alumni Night - Alumni Clubhouse - Friday, September 3
Join the St.Catharines Rowing Club Alumni at the Alumni Clubhouse for a great evening reconnecting with old friends from rowing. Join us for a drink and BBQ up-top of Henley Island, bar opens after the last race at 5:00 p.m. Meet up with old rowing friends to relive those glory days of your rowing careers or come to meet new friends from this international event. |
Are you a past St.Catharines Rowing Club Oarsperson or supporter of rowing in St.Catharines? Consider joining the alumni, membership sign up will be available. All are welcome! The St.Catharines Rowing alumni are a not for profit group supporting rowing in St.Catharines for over 50 years. |
| Masters Party and Concert - - - Saturday, September 4
The tradition continues in St. Catharines! We will be hosting the athlete's party on the Saturday of the regatta. Cash bar open at 6:00 pm, Dinner at 7:00 pm - Dinner menu to include: One Complimentary Alcoholic Beverage Mixed Greens and other Cold Salads Grilled Steak/Chicken/Sausage Chefs Selection of Seasonal Vegetables Assortment of Breads and Rolls Variety of Desserts |
